As part of the assignment I have visited the village for collecting data and also to observe the surrounding and to meet people of the area. Initially, I have tried to contact the president but he was not available, it seems he deliberately skips to meet me. Than I tried to meet the vice president, he finally agreed to meet me at his home. Actually he is not the vice president in fact he is acting as vice president on behalf of his mother ShofatunBibi, the officially elected vice president.  He is doing the job of vice president from his house only, the data provided by him mismatches with the censu

Being a Student of Mass Communication at Assam University, Silchar.

This is a whole new journey of me as a blogger. I've been blogging since few years. But, from now onwards I will try to write something that interests me and have internet of the society. I know I can't make any changes in the society, even our govt. fails so who am I. But, I will try to make sure the unaware people to get aware of their tights and responsibilities. From the last 2 years of my observation and analysis I came to know that the whole humanity facing severe threat. People don't know their rights those who knows are mis using it. From last two years everything has changed, this change is actually an improvement, and I am loving it. My way of dealing with life changed. Being a student of Mass Communication I'm truly privileged.  I have learned the importance of Radio, Newspaper, Magazine, Folk media etc. And also came to know a little bit about Advertising, Public Relations, and Most importantly I have learned Television Production and most importantly film

Ragging! Still a part of Syllabus!

Even after all the strict rules and regulations regarding Ragging at educational institutions, it is still a part of it. As I witnessed in starting this session. They are so cool, I guess. They feel above the juniors. The words junior & Senior also sounds discriminating. I think they don't know the exact definition of Ragging. The ragger defined ragging in a different way. What they do is not ragging, and what they don't do is ragging. Some do ragging as introduction some as Fresher's Day. I'm strictly against the both, hence I was not a part of the typical introduction session. Though it is not like what others do like the integrated departments students, in this matter, they are above all. They take rude introduction outside their department also. And those raggers were from integrated departments even the Law students doing the same, even after knowing the consequences of ragging. While I was waiting for my bus near university gate, where we all gather ev

Hollywood getting over Bollywood!

As the title of the post suggests the Cinema of United Stated are making troubles for Indian filmmakers by releasing their movies in India. Hollywood movies are getting big releases in India. They are earning big bucks too. This business has scared Bollywood. Therefore, certain film makers feel that the release of foreign films should be limited. For example The Jungle Book, which released in April, crossed the Rs 150cr mark whereas Shahrukh's film fan which released around the same time failed to impress larger section of the audience. The collections of Hollywood films have multiplied in India in the last five years. Initially, they would only play at 400 screens across the country, now it is over 1,500 screens. For instance, Jurassic World (2015) in India alone was released in 2,300 screens across the country. No big Bollywood films released a week earlier or a week after after its release. In another instance, in 2015, Fast and Furious 7 got double the screens that Byomkesh

Being a Fan of SRK and a movie Enthusiast.

Every SRK starrer movie brings some state of happiness just like i feel in  festivals. In fact when SRK comes with his movie he brings some sort of festivities all over the Nation. Some times the movie doesn't work in box office as expected, but no matter what it is the excitement remains the same every time. Shahrukh Khan is not just a film star, in fact he is an icon of our Nation. He is now a global figure. He has popularity larger than life. He still holds the record for highest 1st day nett collection of ₹44.97 Cr for #HappyNewYear . May be PK is the highest grossing Bollywood by collecting ₹340 cr in India and Salman holding 2nd position with Bajrangi Bhaijan collecting 310 cr. But the fact is that when someone use the word Bollywood in any corner of the world, only one comes in mind which is Shahrukh Khan. No doubt Aamir and Salman are huge stars. But one cannot deny the achievements of Shahrukh Khan also. I have grown up watching movies like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, K

Proud to be a Mass Communication guy!

This supposed to be a Facebook status on my wall, but as i goes on writing this i felt should be on blog. In Facebook it may get 50 likes in e-4 days but those likes are meaningless, people likes posts if they recognize your profile name. Nobody has the time to press more and read my long status as i do. I feel proud to be a Mass Communication student. No matter if i m jobless, i dnt feel insecure about my future. Some of my friends have already settled their life, some are still climbing. I m not in that race. Matter is not that i don't need a job. Of course i do. But, i want that job in which i can work with full enthusiasm and passion. For me passion is most important things in our life, passion to do something keeps us alive. Without a passion for life, life  becomes boring, i cant live a boring life like other do. The guys who  are settled in their life i think they are killing their passion for life. Life is a one time chance, if you miss to do something for your self rel
